Specialty Programs
- Military: UHS' Patriot Support Programs offers behavioral health services specifically created for military, veterans and households in 34 facilities.
- First Responders: Includes behavioral healthcare assistance, services and programs for very first responders (police, firemens, dispatchers, corrections officers, criminal activity scene professionals), EMS and other health care workers, in addition to active-duty armed force.
- Substance Use Disorder (SUD): A Number Of UHS' Behavioral Health centers provide a broad range of treatment services, such as alcohol and drug detox, step-down programs, sober living and aftercare. Services are available at numerous levels of care (e.g., residential, inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization).
Among them are those in our Foundations Recovery Network which focuses on the integrated treatment of dependency and underlying psychological health disorders.
In 2024, we opened our very first Foundations Health location, offering outpatient services for those fighting with SUD, mental health problems and/or opioid reliance, consisting of medication-assisted treatment.
- Eating Disorders: Skilled clinicians are geared up and trained to resolve a wide variety of eating disorders from anorexia and bulimia to binge eating along with eating disorders co-occurring with other conditions. - Autism Spectrum Disorder: Dedicated programs available at select centers tailor a patient's treatment and interventions to specifically determine and track progress. Plans incorporate behavioral performance, social advancement, interaction capabilities, academic/vocational achievement, family education and assistance.

UHS has actually demonstrated its commitment to suicide prevention through its longstanding partnership with the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention. As a proud supporter of the Action Alliance, UHS offers education and resources to the communities we serve.
